Feature – Track Focus Timeline

The track focus timeline is a new addition to the track focus screen. Now we can reconcile a track based on its timeline and we can distinguish between multiple events at the same physical location that happened at different times of the day. This is especially useful when reconciling a track around the depot.

To access the track focus screen, simply click on the arrow of the track on the Tracks screen.

Check and reconcile a track with your routing schedule with the track focus timeline. The track focus timeline feature was requested by users who need fine grained control when checking and reconciling their schedules with tracks. After route optimization, this is probably one of the most useful features available in the latest release of the Intelligent Routing web application.

The timeline is a simple representation of a track based on the time that each location was logged. This way a previously confusing sequence of logged locations is clearly laid out in time. For example: If a user was at the same location at different times of the day it becomes trivial to distinguish between the tracks points on the timeline even though the tracks overlap on the map.
