With the new Intelligent Routing improvements managers can follow their users online with Live Track Log Updates. This feature is enabled for selected users and updates the web automatically to keep the track in sync with the devices out in the field.
We have enabled the feature for selected users. If you are interested in trying out the feature contact us.
Each device under management gets a marker to indicate the current status of the track. If the track has been updated recently, the marker is solid as indicated in the image below.
If the device is not sending updates (e.g. if mobile data is disabled) the indicator will flash after 5 minutes.
If the communication is older than 10 minutes the marker changes to an exclamation mark.
For users who don’t have the live updates enabled, this is also a great way to see if it may be time to hit refresh.
If recent tracks are loaded for a device, but there are no tracks for today, then the exclamation mark is grey.
Here are four markers showing that the recent tracks for devices all have no track for today. The empty space indicates that no data is shown for the device on the map and nothing is available today.
